That's my point. If the St location was incorrect, it could have gone to where it thought it was.

Rephrase. Not skilled at mutzing with stuff on cell phone... I can read lat/lon pairs. So, where did h think it was as it took off, where did st believe itself to be, and where was actual takeoff point? If my idea carries any merit, the landing point should be determinable from these.

I'm not skilled at reading these files. Do they indicate the (perceived) St location? Maybe you can go to those coords and find it waiting for you after a clean low power landing... Not betting, but one can hope/check...

You're in Germantown, MD? You can use my H... I'm in Lexington Park, near Pax River NAS.

If/when you find/replace, I highly recommend the Marco Polo. My H does not leave the ground without it. Also, check app "lost my drone"

Does this mean that a person who has bought the case can buy "replacement" foam? I have this case. Would I be able to buy foam for you? It would probably be cheaper to get the pluck you mentioned, but this would be better protection...

Beat me to it! IOW, if clouds are at/under 500', do NOT fly. If they're at 600, stay under 100. Should never(!!) "disappear into clouds" while under positive control.

I found eBay deals on ST16s so good, I now have three. One for flight, one for camera, and the third for flight sim/spare. All are the 3-antenna version (one came that way, I updated the other 2 with the kits from Terrestrial Imaging). I paid 120 for the second, 170 for the third.
