It should be repairable. I've already removed it from the camera. It has plug in connectors on each end. So no soldering or splicing is necessary to replace it so long as I can find a replacement. It's in 3 pieces. There's a metal "ring" at one end with the wires wrapped around it. Not an error...

Well I've done the camera antenna mod, and it helped. But not a lot. Maybe it's my neighborhood. Too much wifi congestion? Gonna take it out to the open somewhere and test it. See what we get. Still disappointing.

Although it shouldn't be so, you really need to invest in a better charger. It's one of the first things i did. I bet a better charger would charge it. I don't know why they would include such an inferior charger in the package.
