I inspected the wires around the slip ring. I reseated the base connector. That seemed to work. I have another camera to use and work to do with it so I couldn't get to it quickly. I'll get a replacement slip ring motor just in case the problem returns and replace it later.

Turned on my H and this happened. Restarted. Reset the model. Rebound. Earlier there was a series of beeps, two then three. Anyone seen this before?

Thanks for the insight. It was a bit crazy for a few seconds but the H didn't move and all was back to normal after that.

How can I get that information?

That's possible. The wires in this case were more plentiful than in previous flights. Enough to be more of a concern than normal.

Same thing happened. Never happened before. The entire screen went black for about 5 seconds. I didn't touch the sticks. When the screen came back all was fine.

It seemed that way but it's just never happened to me before. Disconcerting.

This happened today. I'm flying the H. About 100 feet up and not far out at all, maybe 75 - 100 feet away. The screen on the ST-16 goes black and at the top of the screen is "Flight Control Lost" That's it! I look up and the H is still steady and in a couple of seconds (that seemed a lot longer)...

I have this same problem. I have people asking me all the time if I can make a video like the one they just saw on FB. That video is filled with violations. FILLED! I basically explain why I can't but I'm not sure that's going to stop some potential clients from working with the guy who broke...

I took a flight yesterday and when I was done I pulled the battery and noticed that it was a bit swollen. I let it rest and the swelling went down a bit. I'm going to dispose of it. Any best practices? it still has a bit of a charge. I don't have a means apart from use to discharge the battery...

It could be alot of things GPS, operator issue etc...I've never had it tip over. Came close many times. When it starts to tip I just give to throttle to get it up off the ground. If I can't land on the ground then I go to hand catch. Have not broken a prop in a long time.
