Make sure that your accelerometer is calibrated correctly. If not, with the GPS off, the H will drift toward what it "thinks" is level.

Two thoughts, is there a sensor to verify that landing gear is down? Maybe toggle the landing gear quickly a couple of times to reset. Also, would it not descend if you pulsed the red button instead of holding to cause a shutdown?

How do you have the Control Rate Slider set? Turtle or Rabbit? Also, are you in Smart or Angle Mode? I have an H with RS and one without and haven't noticed a difference, but I rarely use smart mode.

Why use the PC? Isn't unchecking it in the settings menu on the ST-16 doing the same thing?

Bob, I use android and use: B4UFly - Rarely shows anything for my area. UAV Forecast Kittyhawk - The only one that points out our local power generating *** as No Fly. Verifly - Insurance Kittyhawk pulls info from Airmap:

So...what you are saying is that you were only able to force the H to land 5 times and its motors aren't even strong enough to break its own props? ;)

Have you done a recent software update? Some have reported an issue after update. In flight failure I had a problem after missing a step while testing "Broken Line Rate Curve" sittings.

Have you checked Channel Settings to make sure that they did not become linked?
