The car industry has a lobby, even the weapon industry has a (even stronger) lobby. And the drone industry? None. That's why politicians will first focus on the drones. And stories like this will not make it easier for us.

That was a strange flight today. First when I took off an retracted the gear I lost the video connection which is unfortunately not uncommon. What was new was that thereafter it went up to 60 meters and I completely lost control. The gear was lowered again by the bird so I guess it went in...

That's why I always (except when flying in manual flight mode) catch the drone by my hand. Good to read that you could repair and fix your bird. Cheers

Hi, I have the same issue and programmed J2 in a way that it is not causing any problems (+/- 10% idle zone). But reading this I can fix the root cause. Are there any YouTube instructions that shows how? Thanks and cheers

The latest autopilot firmware would not let the motors going on idle unless the drone had landed. So if you handcatch she still thinks - and is right - that she's still in the air. Hence pulling down the stick has no meaning to her. As others wrote, just push the red button and you're done

I remember the first flight, the Typhoon was not flying straight (which made me even more nervous) and found out that it was my thumbs shaking on the sticks. :D

No need to pull down the altitude stick. Grab the drone and push immediately the red power off button. Idle the motors seems not to be possible anymore with firmware V3.0

Dear All, Happy new year to everyone! I've read that the battery lifetime is limited and lasts about 100 cycles. What happens then? Will it fail suddenly so the typhoon falls out of the air or do we just notice shorter flight times? Is there a way to check the power supply? Thank you...

I am usually using curved cable cam and occasionally point of interest / orbit and do not have any problems with it. I tried journey once but didn't find it very useful

That's a good video. But keep in mind once you have catched the Typhoon don't try to idle the motors when you have the latest firmware installed. This is not working anymore. Instead push right away the red button. Even easier. Cheers T
