This has happened to me on several occasions over a period of the last 2 years. It is always scary and I can't remember if there was anything that worked to get it down. I was finally able to get it within a hands reach but not sure why it happens.

Thanks for the clarification on the need to turn back on the Alt. follow. In this field there is probably a 30' dif. from one end to the other.

also there is an altitude hold feature which is a bit confusing...test it out before you use it. I'm not sure I completely understand it myself....I had the H hit the ground following me on my dirtbike...js...
So after taking the 16 apart (again) to clean the pots I was thinking about drilling a couple of small holes above the pots for easy access and it looks like Yuneec already thought of this.....Tried it on a second one and it appears to work just fine.....Your Welcome......

Figured it out.... Had to rotate the top 180 degrees also the slip ring. not sure how it knows where zero is but it does. so be sure and mark all alignments before you take it apart.... the 4 large phillips and the slip ring holder. silver sharpie works great...getting pretty fast at the bushing...
