10+years all good but...... it finally happened. Free fall outta da sky from200' ...possibly GiFi battery only thing i can think of

It was mixed in...funny in hardware monitor it appeared to be fine....I have no idea how it got put in there

That's why it is sometimes best to look at the Final Output. The hardware monitor shows only the raw input from the control device and the effects of controller calibration. The Final output shows the effects of lots of other signal modifiers, including channel mixing.

There are a couple of images in the document below that shows how the control signals are processed. If you ever need a headache sometime, you can study them and get a basic idea of how the final output is modified from the initial raw control device to the final signal that is sent to the drone:

You might try a factory reset to see if it clears a glitch somewhere. The mixing is all logic and firmware as far as I know. I don't know of any hardware malfunction that would be causing it.

Was the other ST16 OK?
the other 16 appears to be fine and on the same firmware...I suppose (still in denial) I could have accidently hit the channel icon and changed it trying to just back out of it. It also looks like the master got the settings locked in so factoryR it will be whenever I have the time..... It socks getting old.....I can tell you what is not very linear.... the channel expo settings of life after 60.... Thanks everyone that contributed and jumped in the help this old man with increasing limited bandwidth these days.

I generally do a factory reset, but that's considered over-kill by some.
In case of problems with channel settings I would prefere:
Delete the model - do a factory reset to clean up the database for settings (affects also the default models) - create a new model from scratch.
In other cases, I am also against factory reset by hook or by crook.

Note: Never use the predifined models to fly. Keep those untouched to have always a clean model.

Still want to know the FW version of the ST16. And I still think that we have a HW problem as for example a serious corroded potentiometer.
