Having a bit of a time of it with Yuneec at the moment. My H went in for poor signal / range, not able to fly forward in a straight line, a defect on the ST16 screen in direct sunlight and I was not overly happy with the focus on the camera, but it was not awful.

They had it for about 4 weeks, during which I chased them to get an update and was told they were waiting on a firmware.

It arrived out of the blue with a note to say 'updated firmware, no fault found'. Nothing about the screen problem, or what tests were done etc.

I took it out for a test flight yesterday and it took me about 10-15 minutes to get the camera to connect, flew it once and it still does not fly in a straight line. But I must admit the new firmware features including the panoramic mode on the camera are nice.

I want to fly it more to look at the flight problem but without the camera its hard work. I had a quick look through the forum looking for camera issues following the latest firmware but cannot find any mention of it. Has anyone had camera issues after the latest firmware, and how did you resolve? Before it went it for service it used to connect in 20-30 seconds. When it was new it suffered from slow camera connecting time and back then I used to manually connect the wifi but this time the camera wifi cannot be found, it just says out of range.

Any ideas?

normal the cam connects under a minute with actually firmware.
-have you reset the app-cache in pad mode?
-try to create a new model in st16 inclusive all bindings H, cam, set cam to cgo3p, calibrates

Just tried both, clearing the app-cache down did not improve the situation. Adding a new Typhoon H model did, and when complete the camera was visible, it was also visible in the old model as well. Unfortunately when I powered the Typhoon H off and back on the problem returned. Have powered it all off and back on a couple of times and it does it each time. Currently its been on for 10 minutes and no camera feed / wifi connection.

The wrong flight is not the problem at the moment, it's the lack of camera feed / wifi.

Yuneec installed firmware v3.01.

Start from scratch. First delete the flight data. I would try to reinstall the firmware on both the ST16 and the H to see if they are installed correctly.

They installed the A version by the looks of it, just reinstalled and it appears to be working. Really surprised they did not restart it a couple of times to make sure it was working before shipping it back, just hoping it does not happen again when I am next in a field with it.

I did have an email conversation with Yuneec, they were apologetic and offered to have it collected to work on again. I will hopefully get time to test it this week and see if they did actually do anything with regard the inability to fly forward in a straight line and the range issues. Thanks for your time all.
