I've heard from a few people that generic lithium-ion batteries swell and cause problems after a while. Do you have any idea if this is true? Will I have the same problem with OEMs? And finally, can you recommend a link for it ?The OEM battery’s are not that good even the ones that are produced in 2022 are coming back either with a single cell dead or swollen the problem is that these battery’s are stored for too long some won’t even last 10 minutes make sure to track the maximum capacity of your battery’s.
well, I'm thinking of buying 2 60c 6000mah for $100. I'll use the generic adapter part on the forum with my 3D printer at home. Do you think it would be good for me? If I follow the battery storage conditions exactly, would it be economical? Also, the 8000mah one is around $75, which one is better to buy? Thanks.Swelling of LiPo cells can come from many factors. The most common are charging too fast, charging before returning to ambient temp after use, storing at full charge instead of 50% storage charge, depleting cells to under 3.2V, and storing for long periods without checking and maintaining proper storage charge.
