Battery Storage revisited

<snip>I've just flown them down to exhaustion ready for a rejuvenation cycle (Unlike the H batteries, the P2V+ batteries need to be rejuvenated around every 25 cycles)

Since I only have experience with the H... what is the process of a rejuvenation cycle? Inquiring minds want to know... :)

Run the batteries down in low hover flight to a level lower than normal and land between 18% and 20% (I've found it best to hand catch for this procedure). Normally for non-rejuvenation cycles it is recommended to be landed or coming into land by 30%. Then when at home re-insert the batteries and power on the aircraft without arming the motors and let the batteries run down further until the aircraft powers down completely and won't switch back on again. This is OK to do with these batteries so long as the last part is done while the batteries aren't under load. Then immediately fully charge the batteries making sure that the batteries are not warm before charging begins.

DO NOT DO THIS WITH THE H BATTERIES. YOU WILL KILL THEM!

Doing this re-sets the battery so that you get more accurate power level readouts, prolongs the battery life, and can increase the average flight time by a minute or so. DJI recommended that this procedure be done every 20 - 25 cycles to keep the batteries in prime condition. I don't know if DJI recommends the same procedure with their later batteries...The P2V+ is the last DJI product I bought.

P.S. My P2V+ batteries are currently in this lower power level state waiting for the final stage where they are run down until the aircraft switches off. It is my intention to do the final stage tomorrow then fully charge for test flights on Tuesday weather permitting.

As lithium polymer does not develop a memory the process sounds more like it’s recalibrating the battery software to battery capacity and output.
