Does anyone know if the 10500 battery from the H-Plus will work in the H. The battery is longer and has a different clip but it looks like it may work. Has anyone heard any stories of upgrading?

Do you have a link to information of the battery pack you are inquiring about?
Are you using the OEM charger for the Typhoon H or a third party charger that is capable of properly charging LiHV battery packs?
Battery packs for the H Plus and H520 are usable in the Typhoon H (H480), but are a higher voltage version of LiPo cells. Full charge voltage for a LiHV cell is 4.35V/cell as opposed to LiPo which is 4.20V/cell. The low battery alarms for the H480 are built into the firmware and cannot be changed by the user. They trigger at voltages lower than what is recommended for LiHV packs so flying until battery alarms trigger will put stress on the battery and shorten its life span.
I use an 8500mAh pack for H+/H520 in my H480 without issue. I monitor the voltage displayed on the ST16 and at 15.0V I bring the aircraft back and try to be on the ground by the time voltage reads 14.6V. I do not notice appreciable longer flight times over the LiPo packs used by the H480.
