My sons breeze has a broken landing gear and the ir sensor glass is cracked. When we turn on drone in any mode it goes up and will do everything but come down. We have to hit land and then it comes down. Is the broken pieces the cause of this. Thanks

It could be.
There are optical sensors in the bottom, and they may be looking right at the crack and getting confused.
Is there a way to remove the glass?
If so you could attempt a test flight without it and see. I would not leave the sensors uncovered for ever. Give Yuneec a call, you may be able to get a replacement glass.

There is a great YouTube video for replacing the glass using a flashlight lens found at a dollar store...you may wanna check it out...
