After I have tried to do a software update but failed, I seem to have no autopilot installed anymore and not having any luck updating or installing the autopilot.yuneec file.. heres a video of what its doing... has anyone seen this before?

Regarding the camera behavior:
That part does not look entirely like a firmware issue. That could be hardware.
The camera is both power cycling, and it appears to be slamming to the lower left when power goes off. That suggests a high current draw on the roll and pitch motors when power is on. It's possible the gimbal board is getting hot, powering down, and powering back up when it cools just a little. Hard to diagnose without more information. A longer video or some timing information might help. The more information, the easier it will be to determine if this is firmware or hardware.

The camera "appears" to be slamming lower left. Some questions related to the movement:
1. If you have power off and point the camera forward, can you "feel" a pull to the lower left? When you release it, does it slam down the same way?
2. Is there more "pull" evident at some angles than others?
3. Dismount the camera and hold with the camera laid sideways such that the camera axle is vertical. Does the camera still tend to pitch down?
4. With the camera still dismounted, hold the rear arm such that the camera is facing straight down. Does the camera still tend to roll left?

Some questions related to the apparent power cycle:
1.) If the camera is cooled to room temperature, how long between the first power on and the first time it powers off.
2.) After the cycling begins, how many seconds is it "on" and how many seconds is it "off"? (The video suggests it is pretty consistent but was not always focused on the camera.)
3.) Is the black plastic cover of the rear arm getting unusually hot?

History is always good to know when trying to diagnose via messages:
1.) The left "decorative cover" is missing. Was there any repair or trouble shooting related to that?
2.) You mentioned a failed firmware upgrade. Was the upgrade attempt prompted by an existing problem?

Regarding the firmware issue:
Are you sure the drone Autopilot is corrupted? I can't tell much about the drone itself from the video. I can't tell if the drone LEDs look normal, or if drone power is cycling. The "N/A" for autopilot reported on the controller is normal if there is no communication with the camera, even if the drone is OK. But if the arm LEDs are not lit, or the motors will not "bump", then yeah, it's got a problem. The camera is reporting its presence. That makes me tend to believe it would be reporting the drone also if all was well.
You will not be able to update the drone firmware until the power cycling issue is resolved, or unless you install another C23 that is functioning properly.
Did an abnormal power cycle occur during the firmware update? During an update, there are two power cycles that are normal. But if the power cycles are coming from some source other than the update sequence, it will interfere with the update process. That's where a lot of possibilities could occur. It is even possible there is a problem with communication between the camera ball and the gimbal board (a ribbon issue). If the conductors in the ribbon associated with updates are degraded, the camera cannot properly install the update. And it leads to the possibility the update is still trying to install itself, rather than being the hardware issue discussed above.

If you did the failed update using the installed OTA process, you might want to retry the update using SD cards only. Refer to H Plus SD Card Firmware Upgrade_Downgrade.pdf as needed. Since the SD card method uses the same ribbon conductors and is also subject to failure due to power cycles, it may not produce any better results. But it might be worth a try.
