I have the same problem... did you ever get your answer as to the schematic/pin-outs for the connector... if so, can I get what you have found...

If they are the wires that goto the connecting pads between the camera and the Q500. There may be some old or future use but if you take your steady mount and connect only the power cord it works fine.. there are even used.
all you need is the power plug.
