Can a Yuneec E90 camera be converted to an E90X?

This question might be way out there, but is it possible to convert an E90 camera to an E90X?

I believe that the answer would be based on two issues:
1. Could the E90 hardware be recognized and perform as an E90X with the right camera firmware?
2. Are there parts available to adapt the E90 to the E90X mounting hardware?

Does anyone have an idea about this or has someone tried it?

I think the chances are quite slim for doing a conversion Stephen. To my knowledge the communication protocol is different and all control and video is routed through the aircraft now. The camera does not have a WiFi link on its own.

I think the camera portion (except the WiFi board) may be the same, but the mount and gimbal are totally different. The gimbal is not a constant 360 pan like on the previous H series aircraft. It does 180 right and 180 left, but there is a stop to prevent full rotation.
