What I was hoping people saw in the article was how the operator was being fined for flying without a permit. Regardless of what country this took place the regulatory efforts taking place here at home could saddle us with similar regulations, requiring permits for permission to fly anywhere, at any time.

My hope is that people would develop the ability to project their thinking towards the future, with some understanding of how what happens today will have greater impact in the future, allowing people to take actions today that will prevent severe restriction tomorrow. A “forest for the trees” type thing.

Thus far I haven’t seen anything that indicates I was successful.
