Controller will not get to "experience " stage

every time I try to connect the screen goes to "Left and right joy sticks will be reset when game controller is powered on please do not touch them at the time". Then it sits and makes no progress.

The controller vibrates like it is connecting. I am using iPhone 6 and it seems to be working with the breeze just fine.

Swipe from right to left a few times to get past these info screens.

I think I did that all the way to the end and "experience" is still greyed out. But I will try again.

I got through the screens and had to X out of the last one.

OK, I got to experience and everything looks good but it will not take off. It gives me the countdown but does not do anything. I am indoors and I am getting a warning about the optical sensor, but I get the same with controlling with the phone and it will take off and function. Maybe I will brighten up the room and see if that doesn't work.

Got it finally, I ran the firmware up grade, lighted my room (under the breeze before take off). and it worked!!!!!! hey there ya go!!! Then I forgot what the land buttons were.......fumbled around and had a safe landing.....cool
