Hi all,
I have a Yuneec Breeze 4K that came with a controller that I rarely use. Is it possible to get this controller working with a pc to play games? I noticed when you connect it via Bluetooth to a mobile device it shows up as Gamesir G3, so maybe there is a way to use it as a GameSir? any thoughts?
I have tried plugging it in to the computer, but it just says windows was not able to recognize the device because it malfunctioned. I don't know for sure if the cable I am using is a data cable, but I can try to find one that I know is.
Thanks for any help,
Jerry

I tried flashing the normal GameSir firmware to a Breeze controller several years ago and it would not work.

The controller for the Breeze was a special build for Yuneec. It only communicates via Bluetooth, and works with iOS or Android devices to control the Breeze.

It may be possible to use it with games on an iOS or Android smart phone. GameSir G3 Review: Affordable Controller for Android Games

I hate yuneec so much. If they're going to sell you a poor quality drone to begin with (one that's not going to work next year anyways), at least just let me repurpose the controller for something actually useful! This is really angering to me. I'm never buying a yuneec drone again.

I’m not sure when you bought your Breeze, but they were introduced in late 2015 or early 2016. They were one of the first Selfie type drones and were an innovation at the time.

The last update to the Breeze Cam app was in 2018. Changes to iOS and Android operating systems have made the app outdated. All of Yuneec’s consumer level drones are now “legacy” products and no longer supported directly by Yuneec and haven’t been since early 2020.

Why you choose to berate Yuneec for this old first generation selfie drone is a bit perplexing. There was also no selling point of the controller being able to be used as a gaming controller.
