Technically possible. Those motors with 24"props can easily lift 20 lbs each. Two people easily lifted the drone, so I guess it weighs less than 100 lbs. That leaves plenty of thrust for the payload (person.)Looks real to me! Thats a huge drone! 16 props i believe.

I initially wondered if it was fake but after seeing his latest video (posted a few message up) I am convinced that he actually did it. He explains many of the issues that they had along with more videos which show the kind of problem you are talking about.Note that the drone doesn't wiggle or budge when the rope is slack and then suddenly tightens. I think it would move a bit when he suddenly pulled on the tow rope.
