If you have been watching the America's Cup sail boat race in Bermuda, you may have seen the motor pod lights of a drone capturing pictures of the sailing event. Here's a link about how someone is making a name for himself by commercial flying for the Kiwi team. What an excellent use of remote controlled aerial cameras.
The Kiwis’ edge in America’s Cup: drones
These new hydrofoil boats are fantastic. They can sail 3x the wind speed!

Congratulations to the Team New Zealand for winning the cup in 7:1 final matches. I'll bet the hexacopter they were using made the difference!

I was interested to see that Bowers (the drone pilot) depends mainly on VLOS to control the drone in close quarters. This allows him to fly VERY close to the water and his video target. This is aided by use of a "normal" lens rather than wide angle.
Here's a link to Bowers' new company page: BEAR UAV | High Performance Drones
Curiously, his drone packages do not include 4k cameras.
