Steady green with a white flash says you are in 'smart' mode with sufficient GPS satellites acquired...on the face of it no reason why you can't lift off. You aren't near an airport perchance? How close to the aircraft are you standing when trying to lift off?

19 months ago when I first got my H I had a similar experience when trying to do my very first flight with it. I did all the calibrations and powered it up for the flight. It just wouldn't take off...the motors wouldn't start. After some time I gave up and came home. Later that day I decided to power it up again at the side of my house and the motors started. To this day I never got to the bottom of why the motors refused to start but I've never had that problem since...and I've flown since from the same place.

Looking at the LED status guide that Led flashing green and white is indication that it is in compass calibration mode? Is it blinking slowly or rapidly? Either way that is what the LED status guide says.
Could that be preventing it from flying I don't know.
I also see that flashing green would mean you are in smart mode with insufficient sats. Were you doing some kind of calibration?

Also I read somewhere in my manual that you need a minimum of Sats on the bird to start the motors. I think it was 6 but not sure. Do you recall how many Sats you uhad at that time?

He's probably standing inside the Smart Circle and the H is certainly in Smart Mode.. Reading the Quick Start Guide and other instructions might well be a great starting point to overcome his difficulty.

Indeed.
However, when I had a similar problem on my first abortive flight I was in Angle mode. If I'd been in smart mode that's what would have been my first thought if I'd have been daft enough to try a take off standing close to it.

I've never begun a flight in safe mode, although I have inadvertently caught the switch on two occasions during a flight. Safe mode is anything but safe for those that don't do their homework.

All that said, it could be that he was standing far enough away and so there may be another cause. Hopefully the OP may come back and clarify and if he was far enough away from it we can try and help him out with his problem:)

Green LED with white flash means the aircraft is in smart mode with sufficient satellites acquired.

The LED guide can be tricky at times and, from what I have read not always accurate. This one that I got with my new H shows that, as you indicated, solid green with a white flash means ok for follow me in smart mode. However solid green without the white

Did you get it to fly yet?
