I am about to pull the plug and buy a H520 for surveying and mapping projects. I have my airmans 107 certificate, and have a very thorough understanding of the FAA regulations and understand the air space regulations. I started into the drone industry last year with a Phantom P42, and was pretty happy with it. But, it was recently rendered useless in quite a few of the areas I work by the geo fencing firmware that was recently installed onto the unit. It can not be undone, and it is quite often in error in regards to the air space I'm flying in.
My question for you experienced Yuneec flyers is this: Does the Yuneec 520 come with any sort of limiting firmware or limitations, with regards to "NFZ" or anything else?
