Can someone explain the three positions of the Gimbal Pan control switch ( Follow, Follow with controllable, Global) . I've re-read the manual description several times and The middle and down position is confusing. "will adjust its pan direction according to the aircraft’s movements" is confusing to me.

Here is the manual description:
There is a gimbal pan mode switch on ST16S---S2. When the switch position is up, the gimbal camera is in
Follow Mode. The pan control of the gimbal camera is now disabled. The gimbal camera will adjust its pan
direction according to the aircraft’s movements.

When the switch is in the middle position, the gimbal
camera is in Follow Pan Controllable Mode, the gimbal camera will adjust its pan direction according to
the aircraft’s movements. Meanwhile, the pan control is activated, use the K1 to set the pan position of
the gimbal camera.

When the switch position is down, the gimbal camera is in Global Mode. The pan
direction of the gimbal camera will be fixed regardless of the aircraft’s movements. Use the K1 to set the
pan position of the gimbal camera.

From what i gather:
Follow, the pan knob K1 is disabled and the camera just points straight ahead.
Follow with controllable, here the camera points in the direction that you select with K1 but stays fixed.
Global, the camera will maintain the direction of the view regardless of the direction of the aircraft. If it points east, it will maintain that view even when the aircraft turns

Is that correct?

Simple:
1. Straight ahead with smooth movements according to the aircraft maneuvers.
2. You have selected a point of interest using K1 to point it. The camera will hold the vector of sighting until you rotate as example the drone.
3. You'd like to move to North, but the camera, for some reason should point to East. Turning the K1 at 90 degrees right will arrange this and camera will stay right handed in 90 degrees all the time in the relation of drone.

Just try all modes and you'll understand.
