Hello everyone!
New to quadcopters in general aside from my tiny toy Eachine E010 on which I learned to fly and finally pulled the trigger on a Q500 4k.
Picked up a RTF kit with an aluminum case on Ebay for about $400 new and it is in the mail.
I agonized over this drone, the 3DR Solo, and the DJI Spark as all were in a similar price point.
I ultimately decided on the Q500 4K due to a friend of mine having one for me to fly around and experiment with. I have flown the other ones mentioned, but I really enjoy how the Q500 handles.
I'm looking to learn aerial photography and this bird seems to be the best entry level model around with a 4k camera that isn't a potato wrapped in tinfoil. I know it isn't as good as some cameras out there, but from the footage I've seen it is more than sufficient for beginners like myself.
I've seen a number of interesting threads in my brief browsing experience in this site, and I feel like I'll be able to find a lot of helpful folks here.
Thanks and have a great day!
