Question about q500 4k. Can I remove the GUI tap harness. The reason I ask is because I have a damaged wire on mine. Plus I found a bent pin in one of the connectors when I removed the harness. I bought this drone and haven’t been able to fly it yet. Haven’t been able to get the motors to turn on. And this harness is the only visible thing I can see wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. You can remove the GUI Tap Harness. You will probably not have enough wire to route the connector out to the battery door. The key is recognizing the wire colors do NOT match up across the connectors. (Thanks, Yuneec). The attached drawing may be useful to check the alignments. I everything on the mainboard and receiver connectors are in the original alignment, they will "mismatch" correctly.

In the first picture it looks like the receiver board is broken. You need a connection between the main board and the receiver SR24. The GUI harness is a part of it. there is only a T-junction for the connection to USB serial converter YUNA100. Only this leg is not really needed the rest is essential for the drone.
