I bought a H520 main board from John several months ago. One motor was erratic and went into 5 motor mode after lift off. The logs was just a few seconds so not much to go on. Carol did contact me the other day to my surprise and e talked tonight and she said Mr. Carr wanted me to post the issue. She has a mess to deal with and hope it works out for her. If any one has a clue I would appreciate input
Thanks

No. This was a H Plus that was new. I needed to map and didn't know that it couldn't be set up for that. (Miss information ) I can give it a try.

Have you swapped the problem arm with one of the other arms to confirm the issue is with the board and not with the arm?
I have now swapped the arms and the same motor does not power up. After stopping it beeps a SOS .

Sounds like a failed board. The capacitors and mosfets sometimes fail. The older models with stand-alone ESCs had a controller on each, and those controllers were the main failure. Not sure if the one-piece boards have individual controllers or not.
At this point you can either look for a replacement board, try to find a shop that can figure out and repair the board you have or see if @Carolee-GF Yuneec Skins has another in stock.

I have one on the way, do you know of a shop that could repair boards. Looks like we are on our own. I noticed the UK dealer is no longer repairing. Makes me wonder what the future holds for Yuneec. Thanks for the help.

"do you know of a shop that could repair boards."
None. A really good computer shop might, but I doubt any of the drone repair shops ever got to that level of repair. It was cheaper to replace than to repair at that level.

As a company? Pretty much nothing.
As a legacy brand, it will be mostly eBay, Amazon, the Forum. and self repair for at least the short term.
