I am Edwin, a Yuneec (first) pilot and then the rest! I have been flying just under a year but looking to extend that time! I fly commercially to protect myself from erroring on the “Part 107” side of my photography business. I have conquered the flying part now trying to improve my video editing skills!

I purchased the UAV Pilot USB dongle from Yuneec and downloaded the free UAV Pilot Flight Simulator. When the weather does not permit flight out doors I use the simulator. I live inn the High Desert of southern California and we get a lot of windy days (10mph or greater). You bind the dongle to the ST10 which allows use of the ST10 as the simulation controller. The simulation is very realistic and the Q500 in the simulation responds just like the real aircraft.
