I currently have 4 batteries.
I wouldn't mind having more, but the Yuneec Hard Backpack can only carry 4, so I am sticking with that for now.
I had to turn one of them in under warranty due to it starting to swell slightly.

If you leave one in the H, with the 4 slots you have space for 5

I have two which is good enough for the majority of what I do. I think I'd like a total of 4. The OEM foam can hold 4 batteries. So I would just store them in there with the H...

LOL this thread took a funny turn there for a few posts.
I have 4 that I keep in storage mode and then charge up night before or the morning of going flying. That $99 price is very tempting.

I have 6 that I keep in the backpack when in use. And 2 lipo storage bags when I'm not going to fly for 2 weeks or more.

Yes, but I am a little nervous leaving one in the drone.

10 bateries, and sometimes it's not enougth,.
I cannot charge battery where I go, jungle, maybe with some portable solar panel, need to try.

For recharging the ST16, I'm using usb portable battery same as for the mobile phone

Keep them in my foam case in my backpack. Use a UP120AC Charger with quadcam charging connectors. Take along my Westinghouse 1000 watt inverter should the day go long.

Tuna, have you reached any conclusions on the answers so far?

Along in the middle there I was defiantly going to join in. It being your thread, I just could not do it.
Next time...

My conclusions are that I don't have enough batteries!!

Slightly more seriously, one of the things I was considering for Flight Center was whether battery management would be useful. It wasn't obvious whether most people flew with what the YTH came with, or whether they buy extra batteries. Obviously this is a bit of a specialist sample, but it seems that knowing which flight was on which battery would help.

A simple battery monitoring system would be useful. In theory they say a Lipo is only good for 200 - 250 charges or so. I keep a written log of cell voltages and mAh replaced to keep an eye on the health of a battery.

Interesting...are you thinking about RFID tags?

How do you like it?
I have the Hitec X1 and the Hitec X4. The both only have 50 watts available at each of the charging ports.

Amazon has the UP120AC Duo Dual 2 port for $117.96 and free shipping. Each port can charge at 120 watts. Thinking of this one.

can someone point me in the direction of a proper balancer thingy for my batteries?
I know for a fact they aren't being stored properly. but I have no clue what they're readings are.
