Hi, i would like to change only this piece on the arm. After getting the plastic in the hole, my strong iron fingers can't take this to use on other arm. Is it necessary cold temperature on carbon or plastic something else without tool ?
The end nearest the drone is sometimes glued in place, sometimes it is not. The end at the motors has been glued on all of the arms I worked with. If there is no glue, you can drill out the rivet and the end piece can be removed without too much effort. If there is much glue at all, I know of no practical way to remove the carbon tube without damaging the end piece.
If the glue resists you can try to use a heat gun. I could remove parts on both sides of the arm by heaten up the (no more needed) plastic parts. Don't let go the carbon too hot. Be careful.
Yes yuneec skins is in my head for quality parts too. Look my place the other side of the ocean, i found arm 25 euros in Europe (Deush). Plane and $40 or truck and 25,13 ?
