How to fly using QGC ?

Currrent master of QGC is connected to the MantisG
I see video, telemetry, all is apparently fine.
I can't make it take off.
In mission, (first item is takeoff) it will start motors(not take off), then timeout and stop - not even with stick input using virtual joystick.
Without mission, clicking takeoff - then slide-to-confirm , produces the same result.

I did before posting, and found nothing useful as to what mission item or mode setting was required to actually take off, instead of just arm motors and time out on ground.

Try posting a PM to those that got it working. If they didn’t change their account preferences they will get an email alert and may answer. As you can see from the number of posts in the Mantis forums, there is not a lot of participation from owners. Hopefully you can resolve the issue and post some information that would help others in the future.
