is possible to set CCC points while in cruise control? Has anybody tried this?

Sounds unusual and untested. It might just take a cruise controlled CCC into wild blue yonder! And I'm sure you will let us all know if when it does!
....Good thing you have that spare bird I flipped you!

I don’t see how that would be possible as the system has to be in CCC programming mode on one side and Cruise Control mode on another. You could give it a try though. It would either work or reject the second mode.

I was hoping someone might have tried it before. I'll give it a whirl, just don't want it to go nutso on me.

When you've logged and recorded as many crashes tree interfacings as @Steve Carr has, storage space becomes an issue so you tend to not record every one.
But every one is different, I'm sure there's room if he has a 16tb hard-drive just for crash investigation. And it was a joke.

And it was a joke
Oh Steve doesn't joke around. He takes his tree interfacing quite seriously. He has elevated it to an art form. We could all learn a lot from Steve if he would only share his techniques, but he isn't very open to giving any interfacing tips out!

Only interfacing I do with trees is with a chainsaw or lopper etc.
