Mantis app for android not connecting

If you have android you can download the app and connect but you won’t be able to update or use the camera in the app.
True that updates to the drone and controller are a thing of the past due to the OTA server being placed offline when Yuneec relegated the Mantis series to EOL status along with Q500’s and Typhoon H’s.
If the drone and controller still have older firmware on them then the camera feed may still work. Especially if an earlier version of Yuneec Pilot app can be found on one of the apk archives sites.
If you want everything to work properly use iPhone. iPhone can get the latest updates and the camera works just fine.
Everything does work properly with iPhone/iPad and the iOS version of the Yuneec Pilot app, but you will be stuck at the version of firmware you are currently on for both the aircraft and the controller as there are no longer any servers to connect to for firmware updates. Yuneec never released firmware files where they could be downloaded and applied manually via SD card or USB connection.
