For those of you interested, or those that might have been thinking about this stuff, I found a free audio mixer that is kind of fun to play with and provides some options for the music we add to our videos. Often we come across copyright free music that sounds pretty good but doesn't quite fit how we want to present a video. Perhaps a slight change of tempo, repeating the track, adding a fade or some other effect would make it work but lacking the tools we can't get there from here. An audio mixer gives us the tools. Nice thing about Audacity is the user license allows for commercial creativity, not just private use as so many other programs limit use to.
The program has a boatload of use instructions and a separate Wiki for people to learn from. It took me only a couple minutes to decide that having the ability to do some of our own mixing can be a good thing to have.
If you elect to download the program be certain you only download from the Audacity website as other download sites stuff the file full of malware.
