At $10.00/hr, using a 1/4 or so mile radius from the point a cell phone call is made, a commercial operator only on site, not actually flying, for 100 hours a year pays $1,000.00 for 1 mil in coverage. Sure, Verifly works, but it works best for those with operations of very low time involvement. I've found that a well planned shoot requires more time than only an hour at the site. The actual shoot may only require 10 minutes but gauging when that 10 minutes will be can be difficult, and if the location does not have cell coverage...
