Just got the H last week. Not new to the drone game, have many APM and Pixhawk machines. So far love the Typhoon H. So today I tried to use the CCC mode, flew out to my start point in Angle mode, paused, and entered the CCC mode. I press the "+" button, and get a little cursor scroll indication under the button like it is saving the waypoint. But instead it says "query waypoint failed". Good GPS lock, updated firmware, all the obvious (I think!) things checked.

Next I tried the POI mode. Went out to center location, pressed "Center" then backed off to set the circle distance. Pressed "Start", at which point it said "Swipe to start". so I swipe, and now I get the same scrolling cursor thing under the start icon. But it never does anything. Just sits there. I tried moving the right joystick to make it start moving, but nothing.

Follow me works fine, but when I try to toggle to "watch me", the icon blinks momentarily red, then goes back to follow mode. tried this an Angle mode and Smart mode.

The JOUR function also does not work. Swipe to start and it just sits there.

The return to home worked fine.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Jeff

PS Guess I will take a look at the telemetry logs and see if there are any clues in there.

Have you updated to latest firmware, deleted flight data, rebind to h and camera and calibrated everything?

Updated to latest firmware before flight. Where is the flight data located, on the ST-16? I went browsing through the directories trying to locate old files, but most seemed empty. And yes, compass, accel, calibrations were accomplished.

First go here: Downloads - Yuneec
Then click on Controller or Drone firmware (Details) watch the video in here and at a little more then two minutes in you will have your answer.
Happy flying..

Thanks guys. I ended up just creating a new model, then binding to the new model. A quick test on the waypoint screen shows that I can now save waypoints.

Thanks for all your help,

Jeff
