HOOD YUNEEC CGO3 & CGO3+ TYPHOON H & Q500 CAMERAS USING FREEWELL ND FILTER | eBay
The photos show the difference in using the hood and without the hood. Very easy to mount, see Instructions The hood is only compatible with the Feewell ND filters placed in behind the filter and in front of the lens.www.ebay.com

About the hood, I would get one only if I have problems with glare, since the CGO3+ has a very wide field of view and the hood could cause vignetting (this camera is very prone to it). Also, it's more weight added to the front of the camera and it might be bad for the motors.
