New Mantis Q on the way. Pointers? Tips

Hi all, I have purchased a mantis and it’s being shipped to me as I type. I have read every post and watched lots of vids about the mantis. If any has pointers or tips they’ve learned please share. Picked this over the q500 because of the portability and it looked really fun to fly. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I know the video quality isn’t great. I’m not planning on using the video for anything more than looking at where I’m going. I still might get a Q500 in the future. I picked up the mantis on sale for 375 which I feel like it is worth it at that price. I really wanted sport mode and the long fly time.

I would suggest starting your flying at a slow speed until you are familiar with it. This one is really fast and it can surprise you. I was used to flying the Q500 and this one about got away from me. It is very quick, but loads of fun. Enjoy.
