No wifi connection from brand new out of box breeze.

I have tried on three different devices, all iphones (6&7's). I tried factory resetting the unit, but still nothing. Any ideas?

I’m assuming you don’t mess around and return it immediately - let the store take the rap for the return before allowing the unit to be serviced under warranty
