With the loss of John, the last Yuneec service center, it looks like the only pilots left with Yuneec will be those who choose to repair them. I own a lot of parts for Yuneec drones and do my own repairs. Over the last ten years, I have purchased eleven Yuneec drones, all of which are in working condition. When it comes to the camera/gimbals, I have more than I care to admit. As with all good things, the Yuneec brand is going to end for us all, so I wanted to ask everyone which drone manufacturer will they move to? I own several DJI drones, but we all know they make an outstanding drone. So what other manufacturers have you tried, and were they any good?

Holy Stone came out with an HS720 that I picked up pretty cheap (60 bucks). It was a total waste of money. The camera's pictures and videos were sad, even though they claimed it was 720p HD capable. As far as flying the HS720, it wasn't too bad, as long as you kept it close to you. The gimbal was nothing more than the typical cheap rubber bushings and a motor to move the camera up and down. Holy Stone has since upgraded this drone, but I have not tried the newer HS720e. The batteries are great! I have had this little drone for 4 years and no swelling of the 4 batteries I own. For a beginner, this is not a bad drone, especially with the upgraded HS720e's camera and 3 axis gimbal.

So, which other drones have you tried?

I have a potensic atom and it's terrific compared to the mini. I knew it would happen so now they have the atom 2 and 3. I am not buying anymore drones and for the my use the the 1st is fine. It's a preferable alternative to dji and it's under 250 grams. I think you'll be happy and it's affordable.

It still isn't the same as the h. I baby it because it's my last. Such a wonderful flight machine!!!

Where can I get my H520E repaired?

The potensic atom is a wonderful dji alternative. I know it's as good as the mini 2 and as I thought they now have the atom 2 and 3. Potensic is also listening because every firmware upgrade works. You will be happy. My old eyes still love the H.

If people find out you might have asked for more than you bargained for. Lol. Lots of busted h and q's out there!
Yeah, I tell everyone, I do what I can, but don't expect me to be fast. LOL
I have been repairing a few, but parts are getting harder and harder to find.

There are currently no authorized Yuneec Service centers in the US. You may want to contact Any Computer Repair with Micro Soldering in Brooklyn to see if they can help.
If I am not mistaken, we live pretty close to each other. Have you ever heard of a company out of Marion, NC that repairs circuit boards? I want to see if they can do some repairs for me. I believe they specialize in logic boards.

It was about 4 or 5 years ago when we were all looking for grommets and fasteners. I cleaned out what best buy had and ended up helping a woman buy a drone. There was hardly anything worth buying. The guy working there knew less than me. I saw a dji spark and told her for what her husband wanted this should be fine. I'm just happy I knew at that time it was a good starter drone and I heard that from a colleague who loved his. It was way overpriced.
