Those who fly part 107 and have applied for and gotten waivers, I'm curious what the FAA is expecting as far as their waiver safety explanations that the FAA wants now. Any information that can be shared as far as turnaround time, or details of the safety explanation would be great.

Waivers for what? Request a Part 107 Waiver or Operation in Controlled Airspace

Some waivers do take up to 120 days others like I was able to get at a International Airport took 12hours. My contact knew the Airport Manager.
Many of the questions are self explanatory. Keep it simple. Don't go into to much detail, they hate that!

That might be why I haven't heard anything back on the airspace waiver I had put in 3 months ago.... I did apply for a night ops waiver as well this week, and that was in the safety. When you're applying, is your safety explanation just going right through the list and answering every question? That's what I did, and I wasn't sure if they wanted something that simple or to go into more detail.
