Plug/socket

Hi all,

Just behind the 4K camera underneath is a plug/socket, does anyone know what it's for?

The camera can connect with either the contacts in the shoe or by wire.
Most use the contacts in the shoe and looks like that's whats used in the pic.
The port in question is for the wired connection.
