Point of no return

@claudius62 Are you saying H520 can fly about 5.5 km with one battery ? ( not distance from RC) but follow a flight 5.5 km long.

Yes easy, calculated from the flight log 3970 m / 12 minutes x 20 minutes = 6600 meters, it's even better. This at 20km / h on average.
But the secret is a cool speed, no sudden acceleration, to plan to start against the wind and finish in the direction of the wind.
Adopt steady drive, cool flight, and time gain.
Do not use sudden acceleration that exhausts the batteries.
What is not possible in flight Survey but in flight video landscape.

Hello maybe a tricky question,

is there a calculation of "point of no return" on the H520 ?
or a formula, chart, or any other way to know if the drone can make it back home ?

Personally I finish up what I'm focused on at 15 volts and started routing for home, unless I have good data on the pack that says I can got a bit lower, but the second I see 14.8 even briefly, I check altitude and and hit RTH. If it's a new pack, I hover it for the first flight and watch the pack's performance and then fly accordingly until I have a clue as to how it behaves.
