Short video taken at Rame Head Cornwall with my Typhoon H and camera fitted with a GitUp F2.8 3.87mm 16M 90° FOV replacement lens.
Thank you. I am very lucky to live in the South West of England and this place is only 30mins from home. The lens is this: F2.8 3.87mm 16M 90° FOV replacement lens for Git2/Hero4 - GitUp Action CameraWow! That is an impressive place. Good job. I think I saw St Michael standing on the promontory point staring out to sea.
I'm not familiar with that lens.
It comes with a threaded lens mount, so if you have the later non threaded CGO3+ lens and mount, it can be replaced very carefully! I bought this around Christmas time but after fitting was dissapointed that the image was very soft on one side. I came up with an idea to 3d print a sleeve that tightly fits around the camera sensor and inside the lens mount. This centred the lens perfectly over the camera sensor. This is my first test video, slightly soft in the centre, but tweaked the focus last night and hope for another test flight tomorrow before work. And fits the CGO3+ cam? How did you discover the fit?
