With Yuneec’s servers having a habit of being unavailable every once in awhile, there is an idea that the firmware for the aircraft and the controller may get stored in the file system of the device that Yuneec Pilot app is used on.
Would both Android and iOS users please take a look at the contents of the Yuneec Pilot app’s folders and report it here.
The idea is to build a repository of the firmware and see if the firmware can be installed via SD card during boot up of the aircraft.
Edit: I was advised by an Android phone user that some of Yuneec’s downloaded files may appear in Android’s Download folder. So that is another place to search.
