Yes, but prolly fell into disuse long before I was borne. There is another quarry to this one a few hundred mtrs away from this one to the North East called The Cow and Calf quarry. Far more spectacular but on the day I was there there was a group of absailers doing their thing on a cliff so I decided to walk the extra few hundred mtrs to this quarry.
