Just incredible. Something that never even crossed my mind as a possibility. Goes to show how access to modern technology, i.e., in this case drones, will find all kinds of uses in the separate hands of those who think outside of the box. But again, access to - and freedom to use - the technology is key to the evolution of possibilities.
Seems like they have thought things out well, have done their homework, and dodge a whole lot of regs given the indoor, under-their-roof conditions, while keeping safety a priority as it needs to be. If any company could do this, WalMart has the bucks to pull this off, and unbelievably the technology is available, too. It sure would beat having those little electric carts people who have physical disabilities must use to traverse the average WalMart Supercenter in America to do their shopping.
I'd gladly let a drone fill my cart for me anyday. Gives me more time to people watch while Americans enjoy their new favorite pastime: SHOP!!
