Just a quick question... Is there a way to get shorter intervals than 5 seconds for photos? I'm not sure if I've got the latest flight mode APK or not.

Longer version is I want to feed the results to WebODM and eventually make a map of the property. Nothing professional or high quality. Mostly for my own reference.
I've tried using video instead of stills, but it seems WebODM struggles to link the frames, eats up the RAM and it just fails. Stills I took manually (move, stop, tap the button, repeat) worked out really well, so I was going to switch to stills... But 5s intervals is a bit useless.

Anyone got any tips or ideas? I do realise this isn't the best choice for mapping, but it's what I have.

I don't think natively the rate can be changed. As to WebODM, it and any other similar software, are memory & processor intensive. Best case is a system with 2gz+ processor, separate video processor with 16gb+ dedicated RAM, and the computer running 64gb RAM. That's the best/fastest. You can do alright with same processor rate, video card with 6GB and 32GB for the computer. Anything less could take serious time, if it would even handle it.

Of course the amount of source data is always a factor. The larger the area, the more photos, the more time.

Best of luck

Are you capturing raw+jpeg or just jpeg?

If memory serves me correctly capturing just jpeg cuts the time down to 2 or 3 seconds. Slow the speed of flight so you keep at least 1/3 frame overlap. An increase in height can help to attain the overlap.
