H920+ CGO4 view photos with aperture settings

I finally got a used Tornado H920+ with CGO4 and ST16. Flight performance is great, the photos and videos look awesome and I am really enjoying it, but I have a problem: Aperture settings are not shown in the live feed (as intended) but after taking a photo, the stored copy on the ST16 is just a screenshot of the preview instead of the actual photo I just took. Workaround is going to manual video, figuring out the settings and then taking the photo. But that only works to 1/30s exposure, of course. Night photography is impossible that way as I am not able to look at the photos before sticking the sd card into my pc at home...

Weirdest part is that I remember the photos on the ST16 from my first flight actually being the photos with Aperture settings applied, but not sure about that as I was quite excited and also did a reset of the ST16 since then to delete the files from the previous owner.

Any Settings I am missing or other workarounds?
