I currently use Adobe Premiere Elements 14. No problems and does everything I need it to do. Been exploring Cyberlink PowerDirector 14 which I got free with my computer purchase this past Xmas.

Regarding music sources, YouTube has a good selection, but my favourite is incompetech.com (requires attribution)

just started tinkering with Davinci resolve 12.5. can't say much about it yet other than to say it is a steep learning curve to me.
