These look pretty cool!

I have seen the carbon fibre one someone made in the states but a bit expensive when including the shipping to UK/Europe.

Was gonna make my own but thes are milled and probably a darn site better than i could achieve :p

Yup, the carbon fiber ones aren't cheap but, you get what you pay for.

I think a spray can of Matt black is in order, that's a bit off putting the white.

Why do you think they made cargo pants? It certainly wasn’t for carrying tools and extra ammo. Only problem is they forgot to insulate the leg pockets. At least flight suits were made of Nomex, which provides a little more insulation for those pockets.

Edit;

Before anyone becomes outraged over the above, I don’t consume adult beverages or other intoxicants. But I do like good food so I’m not a cheap date.

Thank you but you reminded me I have a couple of never worn flight suits around here somewhere. Way back when some company outfitter insisted all the UAV pilots would need government issue type flight suits. Everyone got them, everyone got them one size too small. Ever try wearing what amounts to a pair of undersized coveralls that bite the crotch? Just adds one more good reason to go “commando” in the desert.

Only people that wore the darn things were the military site commanders with pilot experience, one per operational site. Without fail none of them had been in a cockpit for at least 5 years.

When I was working offshore many moons ago they decided all company employees would wear these really cool jumpsuits, and you guessed it, just a tad too small. Great fun on the drill deck in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico summer. What is it with the jumpsuits running small.??

Sheesh talk about drifting off topic!
From plywood transmitter trays to crotch clamping commando suits to recreational toxins [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji2]

One of the few things you can get good $$ for at a garage sale[emoji6]

How the heck did you get yours cleaned while in the Army? None of the laundry facilities I encountered at bases or on ships could get grease and hydraulic fluid out of clothes.

I wish I had kept my flight suites when I got out of the army..:(

Me too.....had to turn them in to clear S4.....should have let us keep them as they’re not a re-issue item. You’re supposed to trade them in for new ones every month as laundering removes a lot of the flash fire protection they’re treated with.....

I wonder what it would like me in a flight suite flying a drone? kinda nerdy or really really stupid looking!?
Or.or, maybe a toxic suite, that way people stay away.

I don’t know about the kit with the monitor bracket, but the preassembled one would be a major improvement over the fiddlestick lanyard that comes with the ST-16/16S. The side hand rests are really not too bad an idea either.

It definitely beats the mental image of you guys in undersized jumpsuits!?
